Termite Inspection Services in Broken Arrow, Bixby and Jenks, OK

Termite Inspection Services in Broken Arrow, Bixby and Jenks, OK

Are you in the market for a new home? If so then you probably already know that most lenders will require form ODAFF-1 otherwise known as a Wood Infestation Report. This report goes beyond just Termites. Other Wood Infesting Insects such as Wood Boring Beetles, Carpenter Ants and Wood Bee's can also be part of the inspection.

Other considerations may be for the Moisture Damage, WoodRot Report. If the home is an older home or perhaps has a crawl space then this might be a good addition to your Wood Infestation Report. Termite Insect Damage is different from Moisture Damage.

So what if termite evidence is found during the inspection? A treatment will be called for and once completed another report called an ODAFF-2 will be issued. If termite damage, activity or evidence is found a proper termite treatment quote will be provided.

How long is a ODAFF-1 report good for? 90 days from the date of the inspection is traditionally the time period. The report is good for the purchase of the home inspected.

Is the ODAFF-1 report a warranty? NO, the ODAFF-1 is a report declaring that at the time of inspection no visual evidence of activity was present. It does not mean hidden damage is not present. The inspector does not tear into walls or take apart sections to detect termites. No inspection is 100% fail proof when it comes to termites.

Termites start with a very small colony and can take years to reach detection. Once the first signs of Termites is present usually the colony has grown to thousands if not a hundred thousand or more Termites.

What can be done if Termite activity is found? A Termite Treatment is the only way to protect a home from termites. We offer treatment for any size, type of home.

Why are Termite so prevalent in the Broken Arrow, Bixby and Jenks area? Moderate weather, high humidity, sandy loam soil. There are many factors as to why Oklahoma has so many termites. We are considered a High Activity area.

Termites do Billions of Dollars of damage every year in America. They attack new homes, old homes and any structure that has wood materials.

If you are in the process of buying or selling a home a Termite Inspection may be something to consider.

Pest Control in Broken Arrow

Pest Control in Broken Arrow

Did you know that Broken Arrow, Oklahoma has it's fair share of pests! Pest Control can be a necessity locally with our weather patterns and such high populations of Spiders, Ants, Termites and other pests. Even Mosquitoes thrive here during the summer.

One way to minimize Mosquito bites is to not wear perfume and control your breathing. Mosquitoes are attracted to scents and Carbon Dioxide... So, don't go out on the back porch after working out and minimize the fragrances you wear if you plan to work or play outside.

Spiders can be a good pest as they control other insects. We however don't need Black Widow Spiders and Brown Recluse Spiders in the home. Knocking down webs can help minimize or reduce spider populations.

Ants love food and water. They forage for these as they cannot survive without. Keep the counter top clean, sugar and other products in sealed containers and don't leave open pop bottles and food in the trash can for more time than needed.

Termite Control is a whole different matter as Termite Colonies live under ground. This is a matter than requires professional assistance. Please contact us if you believe Termites are infesting your home.

If you have done all these things and you still have pest problems than pest control services may be needed. If you are looking for Pest Control in Broken Arrow consider our services.

Pest Control Companies in Broken Arrow, OK

Pest Control Companies in Broken Arrow, OK

There are a number of good Pest Control Companies in Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks and the Tulsa metro area. Some of these companies offer excellent pest control services and some simply don't. Considering the consumer has numerous choices when selecting a pest control company, making a smart, informed choice is important. Pest control is very competitive in Broken Arrow and the surrounding metro areas of Jenks, Bixby and Tulsa. So, what separates EnviroTech Exterminating from many other pest service companies?

EnviroTech Exterminating offers a wide range of services to help minimize pests. Not every pest problem is the same and sometime pest solutions require thinking outside the box. Doing just the minimum isn't enough. Many pest control companies do exactly that, the minimum.

What does the minimum mean? Well, the minimum is simply showing up and quickly placing an exterior perimeter barrier around the outside of the home. Numerous pest control companies make a good living off doing the minimum. They show up and ten minutes later they are off to the next home to once again do the minimum. This is not what a Integrated Pest Control "IPM" is. When doing the exterior perimeter properly it cannot be done in ten minutes. Our outside barriers our done with a barrier around all lower windows, doors, garage frames, three feet up the side and three feet out from the home to put a good, protective barrier around the home. This cannot be done to satisfaction in 10 minutes.

Would you go and trust a Doctor that simply looks you over for a couple minutes and makes a diagnosis? What if you had an infection but the Doctor didn't run any blood work? Doing the minimum is just not enough. You wouldn't trust a Doctor that doesn't run tests so why would you pay for a pest control program that only provides minimum treatment. Better yet just the minimum required services to get by.

Why is the minimum not enough? Unless using a high end, expensive pest control product doing the minimum only offer's minimum pest control. The barrier is vulnerable breakdown by the harsh outside elements such as rain, sleet, snow, heat, direct sunlight. Pesticides break down in time. Some have a shorter break down period than others, not all pest control products are equal. A cheap pesticide with a 30 day residual may only last 10-15 days on the exterior of a home. If your pest control company does the minimum then it is essential that they use products designed to last longer than the minimum. Why would they want to do the minimum? Well, I'll leave that question for you to figure out.

Every pest control company has customers that do only want the exterior treated. There is nothing wrong with this as long as the pest control company is thorough in their work, uses products that are designed for extra long residuals and products designed to be more resistant to rain, harsh sunlight and the elements here in Oklahoma. If the products being used are of inferior quality or lower cost then there is a really good chance that you will have pests like spiders and ants in your garage, home taking over. I'm not saying with even the best treatment and products that you will never have pests such as these. The entire idea of Pest Control is that of controlling them, minimizing the amount of bugs, pests that you see. Providing quality service, care and pest control is what it's all about.

One other thought to keep in mind is that not all exterminators are equal. Not every exterminator is going to have the training, knowledge and abilities to provide excellent service to the customer. If your pest control operator does not love their job then they could be lazy and incompetent. Even worse than lazy and incompetent are that they could be doing as little as possible to help your situation. Don't trust your pest control, your money with somebody lazy and/or incompetent. The truth is not every pest control company has a customer first attitude.

EnviroTech Exterminating offers a wide variety of pest control services designed with the customers situation in mind. We custom tailor a pest control plan that works for your specific structure type, pests present and with care. EnviroTech offers Termite Control Programs, Mosquito Control Programs, Pest Control Programs and Nuisance Wildlife Removal Services. Tips To Reduce Pests For Oklahoma Business Owners, Pest Control

Oklahoma Business Owners: 10 Tips To Reduce Pests

Protect your Tulsa area business from the threat of pest infestations with these Pest Control Tips.

As a business owner, you are probably well aware of the importance of maintaining a safe working environment. One thing that can hurt your image and reputation are insects, rodents and nuisance wildlife. A filthy workplace increases the risk for injury as well as illness and disease. Pests such as cockroaches, spiders, ants, silverfish, termites and nuisance wildlife can cost you if not dealt with in timely fashion. This controllable problem can become a serious problem. So, to help avoid any of the above situations, here are 10 tips to Reduce Pests.
1)         The first thing any business should do is sign up for regular scheduled pest control services to protect your business year round. In addition to your own pest prevention measures, having regular commercial pest control services is essential to avoiding the threats that pests bring.
2)         Inspect the exterior of the facility and fill in or close off any cracks, holes, or other openings. You want to provide as few entry points as possible to minimize pest problems.
3)         Make sure all doors or entry areas are protected with screens or other barriers. Facilities with loading docks may want to consider flaps or other large screens that will help keep pests from getting inside.
4)         Take the trash outside at the end of every day because trash is the starting point for most pest problems. Pests such as rodents, cockroaches and flies thrive in conditions where trash is not properly dealt with.
5)         Be sure that dumpsters are located away from the exterior of the facility since they tend to attract flies and many other critters. A good rule of pest control is to keep the dumpsters as far away as possible. All dumpsters or other trash receptacles need to be closed off with lids. Also, do not allow cardboard boxes, crates or other trash to accumulate outside the dumpster.
6)         All food surfaces should be sanitized before and after each use to prevent the spread of bacteria and disease from pests like flies.
7)         Any open food should be sealed in airtight containers so that pests cannot gain access.
8)         Always take cardboard outside instead of letting it pile up in the facility. This only creates conditions in which roaches and flies can multiply. Clutter should always be kept to a minimum, even eliminated altogether so that pests do not have the opportunity to hide and multiply.
9)         Heavy landscaping and water features can attract pest such as spiders, cockroaches, ants, birds, nuisance wildlife animals that could easily become an ongoing problem.
10)       Implement employee training so that staff can recognize the signs of pests as well as knowing exactly how to report a pest problem with discretion.

Spider Control Broken Arrow

Spider Control Broken Arrow

Did you know that July and August are the worst months of the year for Black Widow Spider Infestations in Oklahoma! Broken Arrow and the surrounding Tulsa metro have plenty of Black Widow Spiders along with other Spiders. It's enough to make you think twice before ever moving a box in your garage.

Spiders can be good to have around as they eat pests but Black Widow Spiders can be a nightmare. Not only is it a cannibal but it is typically the most feared spider in the United States. It's bite can send you into shock and requires immediate medical attention. This is not the Spider to toy with.

Female Black Widow Spiders are known to eat their mates after breeding. They are the spider feared the most by people. Controlling them is typically hard to do with over the counter, store bought products. The Spider is different from other pests in that it typically doesn't drag the abdomen making pesticides almost non effective. You really need a product Microencapsulated that has a longer residual than the typical 30 day pesticide.

So, what does this mean for you the consumer? Well, it means not all products are effective and will provide the results you expect. EnviroTech Exterminating has had numerous satisfied customers that tried other pest control companies with little to no success when it comes to Arachnids like Black Widows and Scorpions. We feel as though our Spider Control Services are the best in the pest control industry. Why? We are meticulous when it comes to treating homes and business for pests. Not only do we provide professional service but our passion and dedication stands out compared to our competition. Tulsa Black Widow Spider Infestation

The Tulsa area has a host of pests. It's funny how each season brings different out different pest problems. In winter it's more indoor pests calls for things such as Cockroaches or Brown Recluse Spiders.  When spring hits Ants and Termites become the biggest problem pests. Now with summer in full swing the pest most people are concerned with is the Black Widow Spider. Why the Black Widow? Well for many reasons....

The heat of summer pushes a number of pests to find water. If you water your yard then you likely will have problems with Spiders. Typically the regular harmless Garden Spiders or Wolf Spiders that are good to have around. Also, with the heat comes the Black Widow Spider which is typically found around patio furniture, BBQ Cookers, In the Garage, Door Frames, Garage Door Frames and a number of other places. Why so much in summer and not other seasons? The Black Widow Spider needs food, water and shelter and what better place than at a home where the owners water regularly. This creates a multitude of problems as other pests need water so the Black Widow has found a perfect hunting ground, your home!

Black Widow Spider

Be careful opening covered outlets on the interior and exterior of homes. The covers you use to keep faucets from freezing in winter can become a Black Widow home during late spring and summer. Mosquitoes come in groves, other pests are looking for water so the Black Widow has an all it can eat buffet when the heat is on.

Mosquitoes are known vectors of disease and have been responsible for numerous transfers of viral and bacterial infections. I won't go into the diseases the mosquito is known to carry as we all are aware of this fact. This blog is designed to discuss to problem Mosquitoes and what can be done to minimize them and the risks they present.

Mosquito Control

First, our product used in the fogging for Mosquitoes is completely natural. No Synthetic Pesticides are applied. Our job is to point out problem areas and give advice on what you could do to minimize mosquito populations in your yard or area. The Natural products are then applied with a commercial fogger that is capable of reaching all the areas typically known to be places where mosquitoes harbor and lay eggs. Reduction is key so the Mosquito Program is designed to reduce the number of mosquitoes in the yard. Since Mosquitoes are flying insects complete control is not possible. Safer Pest Control with EnviroTech Exterminating

Safer Pest Control with EnviroTech Exterminating

EnviroTech Exterminating has been testing a new Green Pesticide product hat promises both longer residuals and better kill ratio's then any other Green product currently on the market. This is excellent news as with any Natural Pest Control Product one of the biggest drawbacks were the shorter residual times. Another problem was typically the strong odors from these products. This new product has a nice aroma and is completely Botanical. Residuals can be up to 28 day's doubling the residual time from most other safe products available.

Combined with our expert service and care, this product will help close a huge gap between Synthetic Pesticides with longer residuals and the Natural Pesticides that typically last shorter times.

Our goal is to offer safer pest control services than our competition. When you get an infestation under control there really is no reason to use Synthetic Pesticides inside the home when these new Green Products have Longer Residuals than prior Organic or Natural products. The biggest complaints have always been the smell and the short residuals. That should no longer be a problem.

For Pest Control in the Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks and metro Tulsa area trust EnviroTech Exterminating for what's really important, Your Families Safety! Professional Services, Expert Care and Friendly People. That's the EnviroTech way. Call (918) 282-7621 Today or visit online at Organic Pest Control for more information.

Natural Green Pest Control in Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby, Oklahoma

Natural Green Pest Control

This week I wanted to take a moment to discuss pest control options for those considering hiring a Exterminator. With more and more emphasis on foods without hormones and genetic alteration the Pest Control Industry has also seen a desire by the public for more Natural Pest Control Services. A Pest Control Plan that offers Safe and Effective control for insect pests without the harmful buildup of Synthetic pesticides inside your home or business is ideal. The problem's associated with using natural or Organic Pest Control have been shorter residual times and strong odors from many of the products available. The tradeoff, Do it more often and maintain a more natural interior environment that is safer for your children, babies, the old or health compromised.

Synthetic Pesticides typically can offer longer residuals. The tradeoff for the longer residual might be worth it if your desire is to have as pest free of a home as possible. This is all subjective and even though you can get excellent results with Natural Pest Control when done correctly and maintained regularly the cost of going Natural may be higher than the cost of using a Synthetic Pesticide.

New products are being introduced that are both Natural and have longer lasting residuals. More are likely to come in the future as the research and development of these Organic or Natural Pesticides gets better. With more and more customers wanting Natural Pest Control rather than Synthetic Pest Control in their homes, the trend will continue and products will only get better and better.

Pest Control and Pests in General

Broken Arrow Pest Control and Pests in General

When you think of the word pests, do you usually envision insects? These little critters are often the worthy recipients of the term, but pests can come in all shapes and sizes, from tiny termites to rascally raccoons, and even full grown telemarketers! Pests can be difficult to get rid of, but definitely not impossible. There are people solely dedicated to their eradication. You might call them vengeful, vermin vigilantes, but they could be your best friends!

Pests can pose risks to the health of your family, cause physical damage to your home, destroy or spoil food, damage clothing or other fabrics, or just be a nuisance.
Most pests are specific to certain seasons, but of course, this varies, depending on where on the continent you live.

Here is just a sampling.
Winter pests may include rodents that have found a warm place to nest for the winter in your home. They can cause serious damage and even require costly roof repairs. Besides chewing wires and shredding clothing and paper for nesting material, they leave a terrible mess and odour. In warmer climates, cockroaches find homes inviting.

Spring brings out the wasps and bees. Although we are all familiar with the beneficial role they play in pollination, they can administer a nasty sting, especially dangerous to those with allergic reactions to them. Lady bugs (such an innocent name!) can be pesky when found in the house.

Summer and fall bring out the fruit flies, which, in spite of scientific knowledge to the contrary, seem to be birthed by exposed fruit. Dirty, disease carrying flies, wood chewing termites, and any number of other insects round out the small pest varieties. Larger examples include garbage can loving racoons and skunks. If you have ever tried to trap and relocate these critters, you will appreciate those who dedicate their lives to controlling these specimens!

Fall brings out the huge mature spiders with their webs, visible only when the dew settles on them (quite beautiful for the photographer), or when unsuspecting you walks through one (quite funny for the videographer). The harvest in Canadian fields chases the mice indoors, which, upon discovery, become wonderful fodder for YouTube. More recently, lady bug lookalikes with many names (asian beetles, Japanese beetles, harlequin ladybirds) have infested homes in falls months as their population preps for winter.

Telemarketers cross all season boundaries; most people develop their own methods of disposing of them. If all else fails, and you can’t beat them, join them; it’s a decent living!

You don’t have to live with pesky invaders. Let the experts advise you or eliminate them for you.

Brought to you by EnviroTech Exterminating offering Pest Control, Termite Treatment and Nuisance Wildlife Removal for the Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby metro area of Tulsa, Oklahoma. For more on Pest Control visit us online.

Termite Inspection Reports, Home Inspections in Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks and Bixby

In the process of buying a home? If so it's likely you will need an Oklahoma ODAFF1 Inspection Report completed for the lender. EnviroTech Exterminating offers Termite Reports or what's called Wood Infestation Reports for the local Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Bixby and Jenks metro area.

*** Why do I need a Wood Infestation Report when purchasing a home? Well, this is Oklahoma and we are considered a High Activity State when it comes to Termites and other Wood Destroying Organism's.

Termites Depicted
Termites eat away at the structure and do Billions in damages across the nation every year. This is a pest that does not just go away and conventional Pest Control will not solve the problem as the Termite Colony lives underground. It is important to the lender loaning the funds on a home to know to a certain point that the home is not completely eaten up to the ground by Termites.

If Termite activity is found or evidence of any Termite activity then a Termite Treatment or Control program will be called for.

*** Do Termite Companies alway's find Termites when they are infesting a home?  Absolutely not! Termites live subterranean or under ground. If the infestation is not to the point of finding physical evidence then it is possible to not find proof necessary to call for a Termite Treatment.

If you are buying a home that has been remodeled hidden damage could potentially be covered up. Not all Sellers are honest people and thousands of homes are sold each and every year where Termites are infesting the home but the seller has opted to replace sheetrock or other damaged items in an effort to potentially save money on the expense of a Termite Treatment. This does not mean all remodeled homes have Termites. Only a small fraction of homeowners selling fall into this category of covering up damages.

Here's an example of a Termite Inspection I personally did where the owner tried to cover damages:

I found small pieces of evidence of Termites in a Garage that had the entire inside wall re-sheetrocked. The homeowner painted the wall, did a very good job covering up the evidence but missed one small spot on the outer edge. When I asked about why a garage would need to be remodeled they claimed just for looks but the home had other places inside that could have been better served for a remodel. Things just didn't make sense. Good thing I found a Termite Tube and Frass by the garage door on a stud running up the wall that was slightly exposed.

This is what makes doing a Termite Inspection sometimes a difficult Inspection. Had the issue's not been found the buyers of that home would have purchased it and later found they had Termites. It's much better to have the owner of a home pay for the Termite Treatment while it's their home then to have the expense carried over to the buyer when the seller has hidden the damages.

*** Are Wood Infestation Reports costly?  Not typically, they vary in cost based on a few things. The size of the home being one, is the home a slab foundation or a crawl space, location or is the home local.

Crawl Space homes typically will cost more as the inspector has to crawl under the home and inspect.

If Termites are found or evidence of Termite who treats for them? You are free to chose whomever you want to treat for Termites. We however do offer excellent treatment options for Termites and would like you consideration.

*** What about Wood Rot?  WoodRot is optional and is a separate inspection report than the ODAFF1.

We highly suggest that anybody purchasing a home have the home not only inspected for Termites but also for WoodRot. A separate graph is made depicting the wood rot damages on the home and this is attached to the ODAFF1 Report. This graph can be used for having repairs done that you and/or your Realtor is including with the TRR Report otherwise known as the Treatments, Repairs and Replacements page of your purchase contract.

Mosquito Control, Reduction for Tulsa Area

Mosquito Control and Reduction for the Tulsa metro area including Broken Arrow, Bixby and Jenks.

Mosquitoes are a serious problem for all residents of the Tulsa area. These pests make being outside a nightmare. The EnviroTech Exterminating Mosquito Control Program is designed to help minimize the populations of mosquitoes breeding in your yard. Although mosquitoes are flying pests and cannot be eliminated, populations can be reduced.

There are steps you can take as the homeowner or business owner to help minimize the mosquitoes breading in your area. Of course you want to minimize all standing water as the number one item. Mosquitoes lay eggs in standing water and usually where a mosquito problem exists a standing water issue is near.

EnviroTech Exterminating will provide monthly service during the seasons in which mosquitoes are a problem. This service is a separate service from all other pest control services. We do not Guarantee to eliminate mosquito populations. Controlling them is the goal as complete eradication is not possible.

Mosquitoes are vectors of numerous disease and have been responsible for numerous plagues and outbreaks of disease as long as man has been on the planet. Controlling these pests helps to minimize or reduce the risks of these pests spreading pathogens. West Nile Virus is one of the most well known problems during mosquito season. To help reduce the chances of getting West Nile stay inside in the evenings when mosquitoes are active, minimize breeding sites the mosquito lays eggs in, have a mosquito program in place to reduce the populations living in your yard. Visit us online at Tulsa Mosquito Control for more information.

Termite Control

Termite Control and Treatment Options

Termites swarms are now in full swing here locally. The control of these pests is required when an infestation is discovered in order to prevent further structural damage. Termite Control can be done with liquid Termiticide or with bait stations. My personal preference is the liquid termiticide treatment and in this blog my goal is to explain why.

First, bait stations are expensive to install and require constant monitoring that is also expensive. The only reason I ever offer a bait station plan over a liquid termiticide is when the property itself just simply cannot be treated properly due to structural issues or perhaps water near. Bait Station Systems require the termite company that installs the system to follow-up regularly costing the customer far more than a liquid treatment ever costs.

Products available today for liquid perimeter treatments are excellent in that they work on a transfer effect. Once the Termiticide is in the ground around the perimeter monitoring appointments becomes a thing of the past. Numerous products exist that offer a transfer effect but one stands out. Termidor is the product we recommend when it comes to the treatment of termites. There are many reason why but we will save that for another post on this blog.

The Tulsa area is infested with termites. Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks, Coweta and the metro area are said to have up to 23 termite colonies per acre. This is a huge number. We see on a regular basis what termites can do and the damages they are capable of. Treatment is absolutely required but like many customers have asked in the past, do you prefer liquid treatment or baits?

Termites, Termite Control, and Termite Treatment

In this blog we will discuss Termites and the treatment options available. Being a locally owned pest control company in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma we see our fair share of Termites and the damages they are capable of doing. Most readers of this blog probably don't care much about learning all about termites. We understand that in most cases the readers of this simply want to find information in order to get a Termite Infestation under control. If you are in need of a Termite Treatment  or Estimate please feel free to call us at (918) 282-7621 and will be happy to assist. If you are interested in more information on Termites then please read on. We have taken information from Wikipedia in order to provide the most accurate information available on termites online. Treatment options are also discussed below.

Taken from Wikipedia:
Termites are a group of eusocial insects that, until recently, were classified at the taxonomic rank of order Isoptera (see taxonomy below), but are now accepted as the epifamily Termitoidae, of the cockroach order Blattodea. While termites are commonly known, especially in Australia, as "white ants", they are only distantly related to the ants.
Like ants, and some bees and wasps—which are all placed in the separate order Hymenoptera—termites divide labor among castes, produce overlapping generations and take care of young collectively. Termites mostly feed on dead plant material, generally in the form of wood, leaf litter, soil, or animal dung, and about 10% of the estimated 4,000 species (about 2,600 taxonomically known) are economically significant as pests that can cause serious structural damage to buildings, crops or plantation forests. Termites are major detritivores, particularly in the subtropical and tropical regions, and their recycling of wood and other plant matter is of considerable ecological importance.
As eusocial insects, termites live in colonies that, at maturity, number from several hundred to several million individuals. Colonies use decentralised, self-organised systems of activity guided by swarm intelligence which exploit food sources and environments unavailable to any single insect acting alone. A typical colony contains nymphs (semimature young), workers, soldiers, and reproductive individuals of both sexes, sometimes containing several egg-laying queens.

About Termite Treatments Available:
Being that termites are social creatures and rely on each other to feed the colony Science has taken full advantage of this social behavior. Years ago the products available killed the termites on contact but this didn't take care of the colony that was already infesting an area of the home. Since the products killed all termites that come in contact with it the termites didn't make it back to the colony and many infestations remained infestations. Other products were simply termite repellants that made a barrier around the home locking in termites already present while keeping out termites that may be foraging in the dirt through the yard.

Current products work in a much more efficient manner. Termidor which is used by many pest control firms is one of the top rated products on the market. This product doesn't kill termites immediately. If allows time for the worker termites to move to and from the colony infesting all the termites that they come in contact with. This is called a Transfer Effect and takes full advantage of the termites social behavior to deal with the infestation. Other products like this are available but tend to have a shorter life span. Termidor is the name trusted most when it comes to Termite Control.

Baits, In many circumstances a combination of a product such as Termidor and Advance Bait System. In some circumstances where the structure may have water around it or other issues that prevent a full Termidor Treatment then a bait system may be used. In some cases customers want the bait stations, system rather than a perimeter treatment. We won't go into all the reasons why but just know it's a choice and one available. They work but sometimes do require more time than a traditional termite treatment with a product such as Termidor. Since the stations are located in the yard, around the structure the termites must first forage to find the stations before the product can start to work on an infestation. Once found they do work on a transfer effect much like the other products out today.

Now that you understand some of the products available keep in mind that you are protecting your most valuable asset. The home is typically the largest purchase you ever make and when choosing a termite control program as well as company to provide the service you need to consider not all products used are high quality and not all companies in the local Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby area provide the same level of service quality. Our termite treatments are done to the products label specifications to provide you years of termite protection. You can rely on EnviroTech Exterminating for all your pest control needs. Broken Arrow Pest Control

Broken Arrow Pest Control

Another mild winter almost gone means more bugs this spring and summer. Termite calls have already started and it's only mid February which tells me the ground temperature never got cold enough. Here in Broken Arrow or shall I say North Eastern Oklahoma we experience a large variety of pests. They don't call it Green Country for nothing.

With the mild winter and spring shortly approaching I fully expect to see large numbers of Ant calls, Termite calls and Spider calls. These three pests seem to be the ones that thrive the most from the mild winter. While last year Black Widow Spiders populations were at all time highs in the Tulsa metro area so were calls for Ants. I'd highly recommend a late winter treatment prior to the moist, humid weather coming shortly this spring. This will help get a jumpstart on the Spiders and Ant problems we typically have during Spring and Summer here in Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Currently EnviroTech Exterminating is offering $25 Off the Initial Pest Control Treatment and $100 Off a Termidor Termite Control Treatment.
